You the talent should not only get great shots, but they need to be shots that can help you get placement with an agency and work. We work out on location, this allows you to feel what it is really like working on location. Many print jobs are shot on location, so you already have an idea what to expect that first time on location.  We do all the wardrobe consulting, hair, make-up, and styling. You leave feeling good about you and the experience of the photo shoot. 

Always, make sure that the photographer will stand behind his or her work, remember, most of you are rookies in the business and turn to professionals for their guidance. If you are looking to develop a composite card or headshot make sure the photographer specializes in those areas and not in weddings or some other area of photography. Costs will vary from photographer to photographer. Always make sure you feel comfortable with the photographer before agreeing to doing a shoot. "Buisness Ethics" are very important, look at the photographers work and ask questions. You want a photographer that see each indiviuals uniqueness, you don't want to look the same as the next person. Meaning that the photographer has a good eye for capturing "YOUR" special quailties.

It is important that your shots show you, so often photographers will have you styled in a fashion look when you really are to be marketed for commercial work.  This can be very misleading to an agent or a client.  So please remember, your shots need to LOOK like YOU!
